Photographing in a cafeteria is more intrusive than during the auction and elsewhere in the public areas and so was limited to a few photographs when it was quiet on the Special Cattle Sale day. The gender discourse arises again here, with females being the cafeteria staff and the customers being male. Although not photographed again, on the furniture sale day the cafeteria was much busier and the customers mixed but on that occasion females significantly outnumbered males.
